Responsibilities
- Advise clients upon the legal aspects of their banking contracts and arrangements in particular relating to plain vanilla bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition finance, asset based lending and refinancing
- Support the banking clients with their transactions (Involve drafting and negotiating the key documentation, attending and supporting client meetings, project managing transactions and instructing and managing overseas lawyers and other lawyers)
- Draft/negotiate transaction documents and opinions
- Manage transactions
- Actively participate in business development activities
- Train and mentor trainees
Requirements

Real Estate Lawyer
Requirements
- at least 10 years post qualification experience with strong conveyancing experience
- the ideal candidate would have experience in advising on Hong Kong and China development matters
- an advantage if the candidate has some knowledge of the corporate aspects of real estate transactions
- strong reading and writing skills in Chinese are essential
- this position is suitable for candidates looking for a career advancement to partnership / consultant status.
