Experience
Kai is an associate in the Banking and Finance practice in Frankfurt am Main focusing on banking and IT transactions. As a banking lawyer he has advised clients across a broad spectrum of debt instruments and capital market matters, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, asset-based lending, restructuring of CDO investments and derivatives transactions.
Kai has a wide range of experience in IT transactions and outsourcing projects including advising on IT aspects of global joint ventures and M&A transactions. His work also includes advising on data protection and e-commerce issues.
He joined Mayer Brown in 2005 and speaks English in addition to his native German. In 2007, Kai was seconded to the legal department of Morgan Stanley Bank AG.
