Experience
Elana Hahn advises financial institutions as lenders and structurers/arrangers and represents investors, originators and investment managers in UK and international financings. She principally advises on fund and structured debt deals across a wide range of asset classes (including master trust, structured investment vehicle, secured loan, true sale, conduit financing, and warehousing structures).
Elana’s practice covers funds and their financing, insurance-linked securities, CDOs, CLOs, as well as trade receivables structured financing, whole-business securitisations, and mortgage- and other real estate-based structured debt deals. Recent work has included debt and fund re-financings, structured debt restructurings and un-winds, fund capital call subscription facilities, whole-loan portfolio trades, advising investors and investment managers on their structured debt positions, advising investment managers, financial services providers and financial institutions on M&A-related business rationalisation, and advising financial institutions on transactions involving government liquidity programmes.
