Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP Establishes Israel Group

| September 2005 - Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP has established an Israel Group (www.mayerbrownrowe.com/israel) drawing on the firm's lawyers and expertise in Europe and the United States in practice areas including venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, securitisation, intellectual property, information technology and outsourcing.
The Group will focus on Israeli businesses seeking access to global markets and companies interested in doing business in Israel.
"We are excited to be cementing our long-standing relationships with clients in Israel via a more formal practice group," said Mark Nicolaides, a partner in Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw's London office. Mr. Nicolaides has recently advised Bank of America and Rabobank International in four separate securitisation deals with Israeli companies totaling approximately $900 million.
